University of Tennessee Medical Center – Knoxville

The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville is the only Level I Trauma Center in East Tennessee and a major academic medical center affiliated with the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. It is the region's most comprehensive tertiary and quaternary care hospital.

Services include cardiovascular surgery, cancer care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, high-risk obstetrics, and a comprehensive burn center. UT Medical Center also houses the region's busiest emergency department and serves as the medical home for patients throughout the East Tennessee mountains and beyond.
