Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center – Portland

Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center is a comprehensive acute care hospital in northwest Portland, part of Legacy Health. Founded in 1875, it is one of the oldest hospitals in the Pacific Northwest and continues to serve Portland with expert specialty care.

Good Samaritan is particularly known for its orthopedic surgery program, cardiovascular care, neuroscience, and women's health. It houses one of the most active orthopedic surgery practices in Oregon and is a major clinical training site for Oregon's next generation of physicians.
